The Stake President (that's kind of like the archdioceses for those who are not Mormon) was quoting King Benjamin and described how this was his final address when he knew he was about to die. It caused me to reflect on the things I would want to say to my family and loved ones if I knew I was going to die in the next 3-5 years. Then it occurred to me that I could die in the next 3-5 years. Wow, there is a lot I have to do to make sure my family will be OK and to make sure there is no doubt about my love for them or my faith in Christ.
No time like the present to try to change your life. I am sure I will fall short on many of the things I want to do but just working on them should provide directional improvement. For now I'll take "moving in the right direction" since I never seem to get there on any attribute I work on.
